The Research Analyst is an essential role which contributes to the creation Frost & Sullivan Growth Partnership Services. By conducting primary and secondary market research, analysts command a comprehensive understanding of trends and strategies in specified markets.
 
The role of a Research Analyst is the beginning of an exciting career within Research. Analysts who excel in this position are self motivated, ambitious, knowledgeable in their specified industry, and excel at communicating their expertise both in written and spoken forms if communication. With the support of their Industry Research Group and research team, Research Analysts who consistently meet production goals will be promoted to the role of Industry Analyst.

Job scope: market strategy, positioning, competitive analysis, customer analysis or best practices.

Qualifications:

• Strong problem solving and analytical skills - ability to quickly identify patterns, synthesize information, derive actionable insights and communicate / package those insights in a clear and effective way
• Excellent written and oral communication skills (including advanced presentation writing)
• Ability to assess and prioritize internal client requests in the context of broader organizational needs / goals and translate client needs into MR&A research plans
• Highly effective, delivering results that will maximize impact of MR&A initiatives
• Bold, innovative thinker who is not afraid to make recommendations
• Experienced in / exposure to qualitative and quantitative market research techniques (questionnaire design, research design, topical guides, etc.)
• Exceptional organizational skills, highly capable of managing to deadlines
• Proactive with a strong sense of accountability and ability to work independently 
• Individual should be extremely professional, enthusiastic and a team player
• In-depth knowledge and understanding of industry 
• Consulting experience (at least 3 years) 
• Exposure to marketing research techniques and their application
• Advanced degree preferred.
